Art Osborne is regarded as a seasoned communicator, administrator and emergency management information specialist (see LinkedIn Professional Groups - Emergency Management on this website) former broadcaster and now a podcaster.

He has extensive communications and marketing experience, including senior positions in media, business and not-for-profit association administration (particularly healthcare) as well as background in communication planning positions in the public service with the provincial and federal governments .

Clients have included  leading corporations and institutions through Art Osborne & Associates, a boutique consulting service based in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario  on the Canada - United States border.

His broadcast media career experience (on-air and administrative in radio and televisions) includes radio program host, journalist, interviewer and program manager. He has extensive background in audio-visual productions.

Volunteer participation in the community and province provides a mastery level knowledge of the not for profit sector through positions on various positions on Boards of Directors, Committees and community causes/events.

He’s developed and taught courses at a College level for adults in public relations/ communications theory and practice as well as designed/executed communication plans.

Additionally, he’s conducted workshops on communication planning and media training for spokespersons (for staff and board members) in the private and not-for-profit sectors.
